It is very near to airport and as I had a early mrning flight, it really helped. the runway is just opposite the hotel and you can enjoy the tke offs and arrivals from your room. Staff is very friendly and they have drop facilities to the city several times.

We stayed here as it was close to the airport and we had a 12 hour stopover on the way to Japan. The hostel is walking distance from the airport (and even dropped us back the next day for free).

The rooms were very basic and didn't feel particularly clean. Same goes for the showers. Towels, sheets, doonas, etc had seen better days. It served its purpose for us, but only just. If you can afford to stay somewhere else, I probably would.

We had a fantastic stay at Coolangatta YHA Backpackers! The hostel is clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, just a short walk away from the airport and right across from a beautiful beach. The kitchen had everything we needed and the common area was comfortable. The internet worked well and the bathrooms were clean. We would definitely stay here again!

It's a place not very clean and not safe at all in my opinion. I will not go back there never...

I had been travelling for 1 month in Australia, stayed in hotels, hostels and van car. This hostel is dirty, smeels bad, the towels and sheets as well. The room was just cleaned when we got there, but there were bugs, the floor was visually dirty, lights no working of course, old Curtains no hiding the light at all... the whole room looked abandoned. That day was specially cold and windy at the point that you couldnt stay quiet in your room even if you had to blankets with you during the DAY it Was also raining so i kindly ask them if the could turn on the heat, well.... There is not heat and the windows of every room are partially opened... So, very bad night. My impression is: people will come because of the location so i dont care at all to provide a minimum service or the basics needs paying 70 dollars for a doble room shared badroom

Secondly, the attention to detail was evident throughout my stay. The rooms were equipped with lockers, allowing me to keep my belongings secure. Additionally, the staff were friendly and provided great service. Lastly, the location was convenient, with shops and transportation options nearby.
